Despite the face that is was a short week it was a very busy one in the grade 7 world.
In class we finished reading The Giver and students finished up their chapter review questions. Today students began to work on their Art response which is a Word Collage for the novel. In math, we took up our Data Management test and started our next unit which will be Fractions.
Outside of the classroom was equally busy as we had students involved in cross country, soccer, and football. We also had our vaccinations yesterday and took part in a school election that gave students the opportunity to research the candidates for the upcoming Federal Election and vote.

X Movement
X-Dance guides students to create an equitable and inclusive environment through curiosity, acceptance and respect. Students are left empowered to create a world where everyone feels safe to be who they truly are. Included is a parent engagement evening where parents are invited to learn from their children the dances they have been learning all week. The parent engagement evening is Thursday, October 24th. There are several students who still have not made the online payment which can be made at www.schoolcashonline.com.
